It is our great pleasure to announce the workshop “Bioinspiration for energy transport at the quantum scale,” which will be held in Marseille, France, from November 2 to 4, 2022.
This international meeting aims to discuss relevant issues at the crossroads of energy transport and harvesting in biology and bioinspired nanodevice physics.
The workshop format (about ten speakers and a few flash talks) was set to encourage close interaction at the borders between the different disciplines, chemistry, physics, and biology, as well as between theory and experiments.

Protisvalor building is across the street at St Charles train station.
How to get to Marseille
- By flight, the closest airport is the Marseille Provence airport (MRS).
- By train, the final station is Marseille Saint Charles.
If you arrive at the Marseille Provance Airport (MRS), the most convenient way to reach the city center is by bus. It departs every 15 minutes and goes without stopping at the central train station in the city center (Marseille Saint Charles). The trip takes about half an hour (under normal traffic conditions).
You can buy the ticket at the airport desk or book it in advance online.
The ticket is valid for the whole day, so don’t mind the departure time.
Uber and taxis are also an option. The ride to the city center will cost about 60 – 70 euros.

You may also stay near the Vieux Port, the touristic heart of Marseille. It’s a 15 min walk to St Charles (or one metro stop away).
You may consider AirBnB too. Look for places near the Vieux Port or Canabiere (District 1). However, talk to one of us before booking.
